Teletherapy
We believe this type of online therapy is convenient and effective.
We work with secure teletherapy when in person doesn't work.
All of our psychologists have direct experience with using teletherapy and would not be using it here if we didn't experience it as effective. We have experience with teletherapy with short- and long-term treatment plans, across many presenting concerns, across many identities and demographic groups.

Access
Teletherapy allows us to work with folks who are geographically isolated, unable to travel, or are in parts of the country without this type of therapy. Also, with newer laws about practicing across state lines, we can legally provide services to the majority of the country via telehealth.
Science Says it Works
Telehealth has been around since before COVID, but research has increased since then about teletherapy. We stand by research compiled by the American Psychological Association here, indicating that both clients and providers believe telehealth is helpful, and scientific studies find that teletherapy can be effective.
Convenience
Just as important as the science is how it works for you. Teletherapy allows for more scheduling options throughout the day, including for the possibility of shorter sessions within a work or school day (if you have a private space). This set-up also minimizes logistical considerations around transportation and commuting.
